Bogie type gas fired crematorium is designed with moving bogie for easy handling of the body. It is provided with high pressure fully automatic jet burners, cremation primary chamber, secondary chamber ash setting chamber, control panel, scrubber, etc. Crematorium is designed for LPG operation. Three phase power supply is needed. Control panel equipped with automatic temperature with automatic temperature indicating controllers which will indicate the temperature and switch-off the burners, when the set temperature is attained and will switch- on when the temperature drop below the set point. The temperature controlling is provided both in cremation chamber and secondary .
Chamber are lined with IS6 and IS8 fire-bricks and insulated in fire clay insulation bricks. Outer shell is made out of MS structural sheets, etc. And the equipment is lines and formed of three chambers. The cremation chamber is designed to operate at 800+/-50°C. and the secondary chamber to heat the flue gas to 1050+/- 500C. Here flue gas takes a 'U' turn to the ash setting chamber, so that one second 'residence' of flue gas in the secondary chamber is ensured and the ash suspended in the flue gas is settled in the ash setting chamber. Scrubber made out of stainless steel with circulation system is provided. A sturdy bogie built in MS plate and sections are mounted with cast iron wheels and they move on heavy rail. Bogie can be manually operated. Firing system includes five high pressure fully automatic LPG burners (four in the cremation chamber and one in the secondary chamber) with in-built ignition system, ignition transformer, FD fan, etc. ID Fan is provided separately. Self supported 30M tall chimney provided will have ladders, cages, lightening aerials, GI earthing conductors, etc. This model satisfies PCB norms.
